Under Mental Health
Thanks for the help. I’m interested in working in a mental health/crisis center.

Under Mental Health
When I was way younger I had a seizure, from some type of medicine I was given.
When I was 11,I was diagnosed with depression(OCD,from what I now know)and put on Zoloft.
I was better, and I just stopped taking the Zoloft after around,a year.
Now 6 years later it either came back or got worse, and I am feeling like I did when I was 11.
Could having seizures mess with your mental health?
Thanks.

Under Mental Health
A number of different medical traditions are now widely known and used: Western medcine (using drugs and surgery), herbal medicine, acupuncture(using needles at certain points of the body), homeopathy (using minute doses of poisons), and so on.
How important is the patient’s mental health attitude towards his/her treatment in determining the effectiveness of the treatment?

Under Mental Health
My school counselor and dean of discipline have convinced my parents to have me tested for any mental health problems to find out if there’s a reason to my ‘psychotic behavior’.
I was just wondering what kind of tests do they mean? What would they be like? I know it won’t be a blood test though.

Under Bipolar Disorder
I’ve been researching online and think I might have either bipolar disorder or clinical depression…I know it needs to be diagnosed by a doctor before I can get meds, but
1. what does the doctor do to diagnose me?
2. should I get parental consent [I am a minor] before asking the doctor about it? Am I going to have to let my parents know anyway, before I can be diagnosed?
