The love for the love life is the love for ones self, however the other is always in my mind at all times, because the complete scene makes the world great, you know what I mean…..:)

You know my love for music. Anyone who’s been through my stream knows it. Well it all started 25 years ago this year. 1983. My very first album, was Culture Club’s "Colour by Numbers" which I can be seen sitting on in the above photo. Interesting first choice eh? It was driven by my cousin who was a huge fan, of both them and Madonna.

Now I didn’t buy much on my own that year. The Madonna debut album, the Culture Club album, "99 Luft Ballons" by Nena, "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurthymics, "She’s So Unusual" by Cyndi Lauper…it was probably early 84 when I first heard "Under a Blood Red Sky" by U2 and became a fan for life. Same with discovering Depeche Mode – "Construction Time Again" is one I discovered a year or so later in life.

Doing up a little mix of the best of 1983? My picks…some discovered that year…others discovered retroactively…

Tattoo design/sketch I just finished March 20th 2010

Made with Lace accents on script style flower font I have created myself….I got an email that the original "Love" tattoo design was too ‘busy’ so I simplified it before adding the lace accents….I am constantly trying to think outside the box…actually I couldn’t think ‘inside the box’ if I tried, I have always been that way sense I was a child. I mean what kid do you know of sculpted skulls from mud as a youngster? Well I did and of course had to show it off…my ma wasn’t too happy about the skulls but she ALWAYS encouraged my artwork no matter what….

Originally written by Henry Purcell (1659 – 1695) for the Funeral March of Queen Mary II (Died 28th December 1694) – This 17th Century Classic Processional Music was adapted and abridged for the 1971 film “A Clockwork Orange” which was directed by Stanley Kubrick. The electronic synthesized soundtrack was composed by Wendy Carlos, together with Rachel Elkind, including adaptations of several other extremely well known classical music compositions including several parts of Beethoven’s Chorale 9th Symphony.
