Question by kiwi_kiss: ASVAB test??
I am a life skills coach working with at-risk youth. I would like to administer the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test to many of my clients to aid them in determining their potential future success. Does anyone have any suggestions on where or how I can obtain a copy??

And no, many are not interested in joining the services, I just want to administer the test for the above reasons.

October 2009 was the 21st consecutive month of peaceful global protests against the scientology cult. Taking a cue from last October’s theme, Clearwater Anons celebrated Operation Shocktober II on the 17th. Last year several Anons dressed as Zombies, but this year we figured there are already enough cultist "Ron-bot" zombies on the streets of downtown Clearwater.

This month’s protest coincided with the Clearwater Jazz Festival, which is a free concert that’s in it’s 30th year, and is one of the few events that brings locals to downtown cult town. 100′s of fliers were handed out to the public.

Just this week two OT8′s, which is the highest level in the cult, blew (left the cult for good) and wrote scathing "Knowledge Reports" of the fraud within scientology. One of the OT8′s was Mary Jo Leavitt, who was in charge of all of Latin America for the cult. Here’s her knowledge report entitled Church of Scientology – Hats not wearing – Condition of Treason: elysianchakorta.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/cos_treason_m… There’s a ton of scientology acronyms and scilon-speak, so some of it is hard to read, but it’s still very telling as to what’s going on inside the cult these days.

Unfortunately, these two recently blown OT8′s place all the blame for the cult’s actions on current cult management and cult leader David Miscavige. They believe if the cult was run strictly in accordance with cult founder L. Ron Hubbard’s teachings everything would be fine. So they’re still brainwashed, but they’ve both taken a first step in the right direction by recognizing that scientology fails to deliver what it promises and fleeces it’s members.

All faces of those unmasked are blurred to protect them from the cult’s "Fair Game" policy of harassing it’s critics. These are brave people of all ages and walks of life, standing shoulder to shoulder with ex-Scientologists to bring the truth TO YOU.

But don’t take my word for it, educate yourself about what TIME Magazine called "The Cult of Greed and Power":

Question by JOHN G: What is the effect on standardized test scores of 4 by 4 block versus traditional 50 minutes daily classes?
It is my contention that block schedules are good for science and social studies with laboratory and research discussions needing hours, but poor for mathematics (particularly AP courses) where daily exposure and practice is needed. But I can not find hard research results supporting this contention except on paid journal sites which I can’t afford. Of course students and teachers like having only three or four classes to prepare for daily which teaches procrastination and thwarts everything we know from brain research about daily practice. For once the football coaches are right. if someone told them they could practice only every other day you bet there would be hundreds at the school board meeting. But for the AP Calculus teacher… an empty chamber. No one really cares about success in rigorous courses except to write more rhetoric expounding on how they are providing rigor with no one left behind. BS and I don’t mean Bachelor of Science.

It’s really hard to sit through 90 minute classes every day. I am not willing to pay attention for that long, so I often zone out and miss a lot of what the teachers are saying.

Ugh… AP calc sucks..

Question by i77northstop: Is there anywhere to get an anonymous drug test to see if THC is out of your blood before applying for a job?
I’ve been going thru treatment for a small addiction to marijuana and would like to start looking for a job very soon, but I want to be sure the THC is out of my system before applying to any organization that drug tests. My metobolic rate is extremely high and I have very little body fat for the chemical to be stored so I’m just curious if there is any health org. that will offer a drug screen.

YES…. They sell the kits at any Wall-Mart. Pharmacy. Ask a Pharmacists. They will be able to assist you and point you in the right direction. I cant remember the name of the Test. But we had to use it on my 14 year old Nephew. To test if he had been doing any drugs. They work and are 99.9 % Effective. Kinda like the pregnancy test.

Question by amber j: When you 1st start regular counseling do they typically drug test you?
I ask because today I start counseling for anxiety and mild depression..they said i’m going to see a nurse and i have no idea why i would see a nurse..do they usually drug test even if you’re not there for anything related to drugs? I’m wondering because yesterday i took one of my dads pain pills for my back (i have 2 slipped discs) i didn’t even think about it being a narcotic or them testing me today!

They normally don’t test you for drugs. But if they do, just tell the truth.
